Solar Snow Dog

Pad‑style snow guard for PV arrays. It is 6 in wide and installs upslope in the array in horizontal joints of modules with a minimum 3/8 in spacing. Alpine suggests a minimum of 2 units per panel in portrait (spaced at 33% of the panel width) or 3 per panel in landscape (spaced at 25%). Used to slow and retain snow/ice on panels; when paired with Solar SnowMax‑Universal it typically holds about 4–6 in of snowfall to mitigate sudden releases.
